The U.P. Development Systems Corporation Limited, was incorporated as an autonomous corporation promoted by the Planning Department of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The year 1999 saw a change of guard, with the Department of I.T. and electronics becoming the parent department. The corporation is functioning under the overall guidance and control of the Board of Director. The day to day business of the corporation is managed by a full time Managing Director who is the Chief Executive. The overall organisation structure of the corporation is  here under:

 

The Board may consists of 15 directors of which the Governor of Uttar Pradesh is entitled to appoint not more than 1/3rd  of the total number of directors of the company. The other directors are adopted by the corporation after approval by the administrative department, i.e. Department of I.T. and Electronics, Government of Uttar Pradesh.

 Operating Structure

PDESCO is staffed with highly qualified personnel in various fields. Besides the core in-house consultants, that is regular employees, UPDESCO has a panel of external experts in various specialised disciplines who are engaged on the assignment / studies from time to time. With a  spectrum of  muli-disciplinary expertise, UPDESCO operates through its 03 divisions.
